A hub of Indian fashion, the AZA chain of stores houses the creations of as many as 50 of the country’s most highly acclaimed and celebrated fashion designers. The stores’ Couture lines include collections by Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherji and Varun Bahl, to name a few. Aza’s diffusion and prêt repertoire includes designs from other stalwarts in Indian fashion, including Anand Kabra, Kiran Uttam Ghosh and Rajesh Pratap Singh.
Aza’s client list is a cross section of the India’s elite and fashion-forward. It includes industry heads, CEO’s of leading companies and other stylish people from fields like art, film, fashion and glamour.
Aza Men store launched in style in Delhi 2nd July, 2010
Dr Alka Nishar and Atul Nishar jointly hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the launch of the very first Aza menswear store at the prestigious Crescent Mall. The sultry warm evening posed no deterrent to the invitees who showed up in full strength. The who’s who of the fashion kingdom marked their presence. Aza Men’s boasts of high-end collections of some of the top Indian menswear designers, some of whom like designers Gaurav Gupta, Varun Bahl, Vijay Arora, Rocky S were present through the evening. A fashion show was held in the courtyard of the Crescent to showcase the designer ware on the racks in the Aza Men’s store. Jacky Bhagnani, the rising Bollywood star and son of producer Vashu Bhagnani, modeled some of the apparel. Desginers Rohit Bal, Varun Bahl, Suneet Verma, Zubair Kirmani, Anupama Dayal too showed at the party. Post the fashion shows, the designers were invited to pop the Champagne. The Aza men’s store is perfectly located on the ground floor of the Crescen Mall, right next to the entrance, allowing for quick access. With the women’s Aza store too on the same floor down the corridor, the locations could not have been better. The venue was packed and the merriment was kept up until quite late.
