There was a time when we would scavenge Instagram daily for the latest celebrity spotting and manically look up the designers they were wearing. These sartorial name-droppings had become our means of enjoying five quaint minutes of fashion in an otherwise busy day while forming the foundation of our shopping wish lists. The pandemic that had put a dent in our mitigated stalking may or may not have gotten better, but celebrities have started taking dressing up as a serious activity again, giving us inspiration to get off the couch (and out of those pajamas) and take the matters of going-out dressing into our hands again. We don\u2019t know about you, but sarees have been on our minds of late. Lucky for us, some of these Bollywood ladies had the saree urging themselves and have managed to serve us with some major inspiration.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We\u2019ve fine-tooth combed through the Internet and ghettoized these images for the month of September. Watch them and yank sarees out of their perfect hanger settings at your own discretion!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Leave it to Tamannaah to offset the dull lockdown vibe with this bright yellow saree from Mishru<\/a>. The chanderi saree is a classic number that has been rejigged with the scalloped hem, giving it a youthful look. Style it with your favourite chunky kundan chokers or with fine Swarovski jewelry like Tamannaah for your next wedding party.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

Like us, Kajol gave in to her desire to wear a saree even though the only distance she traveled was perhaps from her bedroom to the couch, and she did that in a beautiful peach-coloured saree by Anita Dongre<\/a>. This is perfect for a quaint Diwali party with family and friends, or a low-key wedding, too. Kajol decided to wear this look sans any accessories, but we suggest a dainty rose quartz necklace<\/a> and earrings <\/a>from Anita Dongre to go with it.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

For an episode of the reality dance show that the actor judges, Malaika\u2019s stylist Maneka Harisinghani chose this pre-draped saree gown by Gaurav Gupta<\/a>. It\u2019s perfect for those of us who want to wear a saree without having to drape it or worry about it staying put later. We suggest this number for Diwali, especially if you plan on hosting intimate tash<\/em> parties. Style it with emerald jewelry that is all the rage this season.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

We love how she added a little more structure to the saree by cinching the waist with a belt. The retro-inspired hair and subtle makeup adds to the overall bohemian vibe of the look.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
