Amongst the host of models who walked for the designer, Ananya Panday had a resounding debut on the Paris runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seasoned couturier\u2019s Superheroes \u2013 Couture Spring 2024 collection is an homage to biology\u2019s often misunderstood insect kingdom.  Keeping in line with the eco-conscious messaging in his creations, Rahul Mishra conveys the impact of dwindling arthropods in ecology. Mishra aims to challenge the primal notion of fear associated with insects and presents a case to rise above it.<\/p>\n

Rahul Mishra regards these little creatures that crawled the surface of the earth from times before as architects of our habitable biome. Calling the collection Superhero, the designer builds on this belief. Impeccable execution brought alive butterflies, moths, and dragonflies on sieves through meticulous embroidery. The details are lined with the same discerning eye as that of an experienced entomologist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The haute couturier's collection featured multiple silhouettes including conventional and 3-Dimensional pieces. Black, gold, and silver hues scored large on the runway, while a slew of bright colors also made appearances.  Of course, the embroidery that shape-shifted into bugs and reptiles, highlighted their beauty as nature intended them to be seen as.<\/p>\n

Further, the embellished sieve reminiscent of a petri dish, housed intricately embroidered butterflies that felt alive as Ananya sashayed along. While the sieve overshadowed the bodycon silhouette, the debutante's walk is deserving of plaudit from all corners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
