Sonam captioned her recent Instagram picture, 'Subtlety is not one of my virtues'. Evidently so, this embroidered white and gold saree with an intricate embellished full-sleeved jacket that she wore to Cannes festival in 2013 is proof of that. She paired it with a stone-studded nose-ring, dramatic wing eye-liner, and wine lips.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

While we were only still recovering from the 2013 look, Sonam went ahead and dropped another Anamika Khanna look at Cannes 2014. This time it was a pastel pink pre-draped embellished saree with a cape-blouse, paired with a\u00a0kundan<\/em>-pearl choker necklace, a powder pink clutch, and nude make-up.

Sonam loves her cape-blouses, here's proof. This satin pearl skirt-set with a cape is one of the most non-conforming, contemporary Filmfare looks we have seen. What's more? We were pleasantly surprised to see a dash of colour amongst all the pastels and achrome shades. This emerald green full-sleeved lehenga set, that's OD-ing on embroidery, was sported by Sonam on Bigg Boss S9. We love how she went all-ethnic, pairing a statement kundan<\/em> necklace with a red lip.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Can we ever conjure a best-dressed list without talking about Sonam's airport looks? This white dress\u00a0that she's worn with floral-embroidered, ankle-length, front-open jacket is giving us all sorts of #airportstylegoals. Sonam wore a sequined copper-grey chevron pattern lehenga set (with a cape, of course) with poker-straight hair, red lips, and statement stone necklaces. Sonam is an epitome of all things unconventional. While one would hunt for bright, peppy colours for a haldi ceremony, she took a pastel route for the same. This floral sage green, pastel pink and orange lehenga set with a cape surely had us wanting to break the stereotypes of wedding outfits.
