The Accessories Everyone Will Be Wearing in 2026 (Runway Approved)

With 2026 knocking on the door, I found myself deep-diving into runway reports, street-style moments and designer lookbooks, bookmarking pieces that felt less like fleeting trends and more like future classics. Faux fur stoles draped nonchalantly over eveningwear, brooches pinned with intention, delicate hair pins adding a touch of old-school charm—these are the details that instantly elevate even the simplest outfit.

This year, accessories are striking the perfect balance between nostalgia and modern polish. Structural bangles that command attention without being loud, layered necklaces that add depth and dimension, and skinny belts that cinch, define and quietly transform silhouettes. It’s all about quiet drama; accessories that don’t scream for attention but still end up stealing the spotlight.

What makes these trends truly exciting is their longevity. They aren’t blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, but thoughtfully designed accents meant to stay in your wardrobe long after the season changes. Because in 2026, great style isn’t about excess but about choosing the right finishing touches and letting them do all the heavy lifting.

Sculptural Bangles Take Centre Stage

Barely-there chains’ and quirky charm bracelets are about to take a back seat in 2026, letting bold, statement making and sculptural bangles lead the shift. These conversation-starting pieces are no longer meant to be worn in discreet but are to be styled with purpose and impact Case in point: Miu Miu runway moment, where ornate bangles were unapologetically paired with jumper sleeves and over coat, transforming jewellery into a full-time styling move.

It’s maximal, directional and a look that we shall wear on repeat this season.

The Return of the Skinny Belt

As bangles bulk up this year, the belt trend will hit the opposite route. This season, designers have revived the skinny belts and we couldn’t have been more happy with this. Why not? Because belts have long transcended functional staples and now commands attention

As a styling flourish. Remember how at Fendi’s Autumn/Winter 25 show, the ultra-slim belts were layered over suede shirts and knitted wear to define the waist while Prada was seen embracing delicate, wispy styles tied over wool coats.

For Spring/Summer ‘26, the silhouette is about to get lighter. We witnessed Calvin Klein experimenting with thread-thin belts, creating soft empire waistlines and Gabriela Hearst trusting in texture with braided rope versions knotted at the centre. You know what it’s all a proof of? That the smallest details make the boldest style statement.

Brooches Make It Personal

As fashion begins to celebrate refined, ultra-feminine silhouettes, brooches are making a comeback as trendsetters after years of being lauded for carrying heirloom afterthoughts. The Autumn/Winter ‘ 25 runways, as we witnessed, signalled a renewed hunger for vintage-inspired sparkle, with luxe pins styled in refreshingly unique ways. Enough of watching brooches sitting on lapels, scattered across necklines, securing draped scarves and fastening onto jackets as intentional focal points.

We are ever grateful to Tory Burch for offering us some of the most amazing inspiration, layering gold statement pins and ornate floral brooches over knitwear slung across the shoulders. The result? A polished, old-money aesthetic that feels more like a thoughtful curation rather than costume-like, proving that in 2026, personal style is in the tiny details that you decide to pin on.

Faux Fur Is the New Status Symbol

Quiet luxury is stepping aside for 2026’s more indulgent mood, with faux fur stoles emerging as the ultimate sciura-style statement. Rooted in old-money glamour, these plush accessories are just what you need to bring instant elegance and drama.

Italian fashion houses led the trend on the runways; think Fendi, Miu Miu, Ferragamo and Giorgio Armani, cementing faux fur as the season’s most coveted finishing touch. Effortless to style and endlessly chic, a faux fur stole is the easiest way to channel high-glam sophistication this year.

Hair Pins, but Make Them Chic

Once reserved for function alone, hair pins are stepping into the spotlight as a style statement in 2026. From sleek metallic slides to crystal-embellished and vintage-inspired designs, they’re being worn with intention—clustered on one side, stacked in multiples, or used to secure low buns and soft waves. The beauty of this trend lies in its versatility: subtle enough for daytime polish, yet impactful enough to elevate evening looks with minimal effort.

Layered Necklaces Lead the Look

Layered necklaces continue their reign, but with a more considered, sculptural approach this season. Think mixed metals, varying chain weights and pendants worn together to create depth and dimension. Rather than delicate, barely-there strands, 2026 favours intentional layering that frames the neckline and adds personality to even the simplest silhouettes. Effortless yet expressive, this trend proves that when styled right, more really is more.
