Born to Sindhi-speaking Babita (nee Shivdasani) and Punjabi-speaking Randhir Kapoor in Mumbai, India, Kareena graduated from Jamnabhai Narsee School in Juhu before being enrolled to Welham Girls’ Boarding School in Dehradun. Soon after, she re-located to Harvard for a 3-month course in information technology and microcomputers.
