India Couture Week 2025 Highlights: Celebrity Couture Looks, Designer Showstoppers & Runway Magic

The Hyundai India Haute Couture Week 2025, an initiative of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), unfolded with a rush of drama, detailing, and dazzling craftsmanship. The 8-day fashion week, from July 23rd to July 30, was a showcase of the galaxy of iconic Indian designers and Bollywood celebrities coming together at The Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi to celebrate couture spectacularly.

From Jayanti Reddy’s experimentation with Dori work, Isha Jajodia’s handcrafted corsets laden with 18k gold and pearls, Amit Aggarwal’s signature metallic pleats and sculptural silhouettes, and embellished mesh veils brought about by Faulguni Shane Peacock and more, this year’s couture week was high on craft, edge, and pure fashion theatre.

We’ve rounded up the designers who exhibited at the show, so you don’t miss a moment of the magic.

From regal lehengas to experimental silhouettes, here is a roundup of all the designers who took center stage not only for designing outfits but also for their seamless mix of creativity and craftsmanship.

With delicate florals, rich embroidery, and a poetic palette, the collection elegantly embodied love’s many stages.

Tamannaah Bhatia, Rahul’s muse, walked the runway in two extraordinary looks. A sculpted floral gown and an intricately embroidered lehenga, perfectly capturing Mishra’s vision of love as both intimate and eternal.

Suneet Varma’s collection “Sehr, showcased on Day 2 of the couture week, was a poetic ode to the mystique of twilight. The Nature-inspired collection featured ethereal silhouettes, intricate floral embroidery, and a romantic blend of jewel tones, pastels, and opulent hues like midnight blue and gold. From lehengas to sherwani, each piece reflected Varma’s signature elegance and his exploration of femininity.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the showstopper, returned to the runway after 18 years, adorned in an off-white lehenga with a silver corset top detailed with delicate floral embroidery.

Divided into four segments, from innocence to self-actualization, the collection featured soft pastels, rich jewel tones, and unembellished lace as a recurring motif. With handcrafted corsets, feathered skirts, and delicate floral detailing, each look celebrated inner strength with grace.
