At 63, serving as a jury member at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, Demi Moore is in the most unbothered, most stylish chapter of her public life and she is wearing it like a second skin.
The Jacquemus Moment
Moore arrived at the jury photocall at the Palais des Festivals on May 12 in a strapless polka-dot fishtail dress from the Jacquemus Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection styled by Brad Goreski. The dress is a study in controlled maximalism. A cream base fabric is completely colonised by multicoloured polka dots red, blue, black, and yellow that seem almost hand-scattered across the surface. Three-dimensional confetti-like appliqués extend outward from some of the dots, creating a kinetic effect that turned every Riviera breeze into a fashion moment.
The silhouette was belted at the waist for definition, billowed to the knees, then cinched again before flaring into a short tulip-style hem. Goreski paired the dress with matching white Jacquemus Tourni pumps and a coordinating Valérie mini-purse. Cat-eye sunglasses and sapphire-and-diamond earrings completed the ensemble.

What made the look remarkable was not just the dress it was the confidence. Cannes jury photocalls can lean overly serious, all dark tailoring and austere gowns. Demi Moore walked out in confetti polka dots with the energy of someone who has absolutely nothing to prove and is choosing to have fun because she can.
The Opening Ceremony Look
For the evening opening ceremony, Moore switched to a sleek white column gown also Jacquemus Fall 2026 a sculptural white sequined bustier gown with a dramatic train, paired with matching sequined heels and a pochette. She completed the ensemble with a stunning 18-karat white gold necklace set with more than 226 carats of diamonds from Chopard's high jewellery collection. Two completely different Jacquemus looks in one day. Both perfect.
Beyond the Fashion
As a jury member, Moore is also making headlines for her views on AI in Hollywood stating that "to fight it is to fight something that is a battle that we will lose," and advocating for a collaborative rather than combative approach. Her presence at Cannes 2026 is both fashionable and substantive, which is a rare and valuable combination.
