Manish Arora, the mastermind and king of avant garde in the Indian fraternity is synonymous to bringing diversity of the rich Indian culture on a global platform. Manish Arora had redefined the traditional look with a sophisticated modern voice. His creations are an amalgamation of traditional prints in a kaleidoscope of prints with out of the box embellishments. Striking colours, fun prints and bold coloured embellishments are uniquely blended to present fusion flavour with the brilliance of combining a melange of elements.
Manish Arora is a member of the French Federation of Pret-a-Porter and has been awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, being the first ever Indian to be awarded this honour. He started his career in early 2011, as Creative Director of French Fashion house, Paco Robanne leading the women’s wear collection dedicated to French women. He is known for his unique sense of style with a creative perception of fine craftsmanship and an innovative play of colour. He grew with the launch of his label ‘Manish Arora’ which led to exhibiting his collection at London Fashion Week in 2005. In 2007, he collaborated with Reebok and created a sportswear line called Fish Fry. In 2013, Manish joined hands with a jewellery line and created a collection inspired by the Rajasthani culture. The Hollywood bandwagon from superstars like Rihanna to Lady Gaga and M.I.A to Katy Perry have all sported his collection in recent times. He also styles the country’s most affluent Indian personalities and Hollywood stars.
