Celebrities Spotted in Soniya G
Soniya G has steadily become a favourite among celebrities who gravitate towards refined occasion wear with a modern edge. Known for its sharp tailoring, rich fabrics, and contemporary Indian silhouettes, the label has been spotted on personalities who appreciate understated luxury over loud fashion.
Actor Lakshya has been seen embracing the brand’s polished menswear aesthetic, effortlessly carrying structured bandhgalas and festive outfits that balance youthful charm with classic sophistication. The Inspiration Behind the Designs
The joyful chaos and vibrant colors of the grand Indian wedding serve as the primary inspiration for Soniya G. The designer draws heavily from the specific moods of different ceremonies—the bright yellows of the Haldi, the lush greens of the Mehendi, and the glamorous energy of the Sangeet.
Historical Indian craftsmanship, specifically the ancient art of zardosi, heavily influences the brand's detailing. Soniya Gakhar takes these royal embroidery techniques and modernizes them, placing them on fluid, contemporary silhouettes to create art that moves beautifully with the wearer.
